China–Spain Clean Energy Innovation Exchange
NEXA Foundation facilitated a technical exchange between the Strategic Planning Research Institute of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) and the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC) to promote international collaboration in clean energy research and sustainable technology development.
The visit provided a platform for experts to exchange insights on renewable energy, energy storage, hydrogen technologies and innovation strategies. By connecting leading research institutions from China and Spain, the programme encouraged knowledge sharing, strengthened institutional relationships and explored opportunities for future scientific cooperation.
Advancing International Research Cooperation
NEXA Foundation facilitated the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Wuhan Institute of Industrial Innovation Development and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), fostering long-term collaboration in scientific research, technological innovation and international knowledge exchange.
The agreement establishes a framework for future cooperation in research collaboration, innovation ecosystems, technology transfer and talent exchange. By connecting one of China's leading innovation institutions with Spain's largest public research organisation, the initiative strengthens scientific partnerships and promotes the development of sustainable, innovation-driven solutions.
Sustainable Futures Dialogue
NEXA Foundation facilitated the “Sustainable Futures” Workshop, bringing together students from Tsinghua University and researchers from the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) to explore global sustainability challenges through interdisciplinary dialogue and international collaboration.
The workshop provided a platform for participants to exchange perspectives on sustainable development, scientific innovation and emerging technologies.

EXA Foundation facilitated the signing of a cooperation agreement between Fundació Clínic and the Wuhan Institute of Industrial Innovation Development, establishing a framework for long-term collaboration in biomedical research, healthcare innovation and international knowledge exchange.
The partnership aims to strengthen cooperation between China and Spain in translational medicine, medical technology, scientific research and talent development. By connecting leading healthcare institutions with innovation organisations, the initiative promotes the advancement of medical innovation and supports the development of sustainable healthcare solutions.
Advancing Green Innovation Through International Collaboration
NEXA Foundation facilitated a strategic meeting between Syzerly Ecotech and Barcelona Activa, the economic development agency of the Barcelona City Council, to explore the establishment of a Spanish R&D Centre for T2T Chemical Recycling Technology.
The dialogue focused on fostering international collaboration in sustainable technologies, promoting innovation in chemical recycling, and strengthening connections between industry, research and local innovation ecosystems. The initiative represents an important step towards accelerating the development of circular economy solutions and supporting the transition to a greener future.
